Wishing On Aeroplanes
The night sky was darkened, all the stars obscured by the murky layer of cloud. However, that is not to say that it was completely devoid of light. Occasional pinpricks of moving light denoted the distant bulk of an air plane passing overhead. From a balcony of one of the many apartments, a young man stood, staring up at these fleeting illuminations. After a while, he murmured softly. "Can I pretend that air planes in the night sky are like shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now."
